Course Content

These Entry Level 3 qualifications are primarily for post-16 students who want to continue their education and develop their skills for progression to further learning and, ultimately, to employment.

  • Gain an introduction to the knowledge, skills and qualities required for a career in Construction
  • Gain an understanding of Teamwork, Communication, and other general Skills for Employability relevant to the Construction sector.
  • Achieve a standalone qualification that offers preparation for progression into further training and/or an Apprenticeship in Construction.
  • Progress from Entry Level 3, to Level 1 before moving onto Apprenticeship qualifications.

There are no formal entry requirements for students undertaking the NOCN Entry Level Award in Introduction to Construction Careers (Entry 3) qualification.

The NOCN Entry Level Award in Introduction to Construction Careers (Entry 3) is a 12 credit qualification with a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 120, including 120 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).
